‘Average’… Alan Brazil now predicts the result of Tottenham vs Aston Villa clash on Sunday

Alan Brazil believes Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa will both have to settle for a point on Sunday.

Speaking on , Brazil shared his prediction for this weekend’s clash in North London.

Ange Postecoglou’s men head into the game off the back of a disappointing couple of games following defeats to Chelsea and Wolves.

Spurs will also be without key players such as Micky van de Ven, Cristian Romero and James Maddison.

As for Aston Villa, they are flying under Unai Emery at the moment and sit just one point behind Tottenham in the table.

But the Villains’ away form hasn’t been as impressive as the form they have managed to produce at Villa Park this season.

And Alan Brazil believes a depleted Tottenham side will pick up a result as he claims Villa are ‘average’ on the road.

Brazil predicts Tottenham vs Villa

Gabriel Agbonlahor appeared to be in a confident mood ahead of Villa’s trip to Spurs.

But Brazil told the former Villa captain that he doesn’t think Emery’s men will win the game on Sunday.

“I don’t think you’ll beat Spurs,” Brazil said. “Because Tottenham at home… We’ll have another bet, you won’t beat Spurs.”

Agbonlahor then added: “So with Spurs’ injuries and their suspensions, you still think the way Villa are playing…”

“A score draw I think,” Brazil interrupted.

“Villa are only one point behind Spurs, scored more goals than them,” Agbonlahor went on.

But Brazil stuck to his guns and made a claim about Villa’s away form.

He said: “I don’t care. Away from home, you’re average.”

It’s fair to say that Villa have struggled slightly on the road, having suffered defeats against Newcastle, Liverpool and most recently Nottingham Forest.

But they are in exceptional form at the moment and Spurs will be without three of their most important players.

In our view, Brazil’s prediction is spot on and we can see Villa picking up a 2-2 draw on Sunday.
