Aurier lauds Ndombele on Instagram after Tottenham loanee’s display
Serge Aurier has taken to Instagram to laud Tanguy Ndombele after the Tottenham Hotspur loanee’s performance for Lyon in their win over Nice at the weekend.
Ndombele rarely completed 90 minutes during his time with Spurs. In fact, he finished the full game just once in the Premier League this season.

He did not quite last the duration on Saturday. But that was only because he was taken off in stoppage-time with job done for Peter Bosz’s side.
Ndombele provided an assist in the 2-0 victory. The 25-year-old topped the charts for key passes, . Meanwhile, he managed 78 accurate passes during the game – only Thiago Mendes managed more.
He also made three successful tackles in the win.

It certainly does appear that Ndombele is enjoying his football again following his move away from Tottenham. He to express his delight at the win and thank the Lyon supporters for the reception he received.
And amongst those to reply was Aurier, who response translated as… ‘The man of the moment thank you for the sauce yesterday.’
Tottenham made right decision with Ndombele as he makes bright start with Lyon
Of course, Tottenham fans would be forgiven for wondering whether the club made the right call with Ndombele. On his day, he is absolutely unplayable.
Unfortunately, his day did not come around anywhere near often enough.
And it was telling that several different managers could not find a place in their plans for the midfielder.
A move away was best for all parties. And the early signs suggest that he could get back on track following his return to Ligue 1 and Lyon.
Lyon have the option to make his move permanent for this summer. And Tottenham may hope that he leaves the French side with a decision to make.
At the very least, a promising spell opens the door for another side to come calling this summer. And it would increase the likelihood of Tottenham receiving most of their money back for Ndombele.
