At just £3m, Leeds have got to consider a move for Liverpool star Ovie Ejaria

Liverpool are reportedly willing to offload Ovie Ejaria this summer for a bargain £3million as the midfielder looks unlikely to break into the senior side – and Leeds United have got to consider the youngster.

that the 21-year-old is now surplus to requirements at Anfield after going on loan twice during 2018-19. He firstly went on loan to Steven Gerrard’s Rangers, where he played 28 times and scored twice.

But he opted to terminate the season-long loan at Ibrox, and he moved to English Championship side Reading for the second half of the campaign. He played 16 times for the Royals, impressing in glimpses.

Now he has returned to Anfield, it is believed that Liverpool want to offload Ejaria this summer despite the midfielder signing a contract at Anfield last summer. The Reds want just £3million for his signature.

Leeds could do with additions in the 10 role. The Whites currently have Matuesz Klich, Tyler Roberts, Jamie Shackleton, and Matuesz Bogusz. The latter duo are still unproven on a regular basis.

Bringing in Ejaria would see Pablo Hernandez be considered as a winger above an attacking midfielder, while Kemar Roofe would just be a striker in Marcelo Bielsa’s squad. Roofe and Hernandez both filled in at times in midfield.

For just £3million, Ejaria still has plenty of time to live up to his potential. A permanent move can help him do that, rather than temporarily joining other teams. Leaving Liverpool behind, his focus would be on Leeds.

Used in an attacking style of play such as Bielsa’s would only help Ejaria, and he could be the difference between sitting in the play-offs again and finishing in the top two. For just £3million, Leeds could land a bargain.
