Aston Villa will reportedly look to bring Axel Tuanzebe back this summer
Aston Villa will try and convince Manchester United to let Axel Tuanzebe come back for a third spell at Villa Park this summer,
They that while it remains to be seen whether United will be open to any offer – with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looking to improve his defence and willing to give opportunities to young players – Dean Smith will imminently launch a bid.
The report that Villa hope a deal can be done at around £8 million, but would also consider another loan for the defender so long as it included a purchase option later on.
Villa would prefer to buy Tuanzebe outright this summer as they seek to get their defence in order for a crack at the Premier League next season.

It had been suspected that Villa’s hopes of getting Tuanzebe back had gone the same way as those concerning Tammy Abraham – that with his top six Premier League club willing to take a look at him, a return to Villa was never likely.
But this latest suggests that either Villa have got some encouragement from somewhere or have just decided to chance their arm ambitiously with no move imminent to bring Tyrone Mings back in.
