Aston Villa told they have a ‘phenomenal’ player on their hands after display vs Arsenal
Aston Villa suffered their first defeat of the season in a 2-0 loss to Arsenal last Saturday.
Unai Emery’s side were unable to repeat their heroics from the season prior, where they did the double over Arsenal including a 1-0 win at Villa Park.
Second-half goals from Leandro Trossard and Thomas Partey gave Arsenal their second win of the season, but there were still plenty of positives for Aston Villa to take from the match.
It could have turned out very different for Villa had it not been for David Raya’s “absolutely world-class” save from Ollie Watkins’ shot.
Despite the result, there were several promising performances for Villa – none more so than Morgan Rogers.

Aston Villa have a “phenomenal” talent
Rogers was deservedly s🐽howered with praise after his display against Arsenal.
The 22-year-old stood out against Arsenal’s midfield of Thomas Partey and Declan Rice and Jamie Redknapp compared Rogers to Jude Bellingham after his performance.
Ben Foster has now given his verdict and he was also full of praise for Morga🌼n.
“How big and strong! He was just palming them (Partey and Rice) off. Phenomenal, wasn’t it? You can have people who are good on the ball, who can run with it nicely, but powerfully run with it,” Foster said on hisᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚ CyclingGK YouTube channel.
“When somebody hasn’t got the ball, it’s much easi💦er for them to use their body weight to get across you and try and muscle you off it, but when you are in control of the ball, you have to forgo a little bit because you are trying to be really delicate with the bal🌠l.
“He has got everything, absolutely everything.”
Aston Villa’s £15m bargain
Villa paid £15million to sign Ro🍎gers from Middlesbrough in January and he showed glimpses of promise 🌳at the tail end of last season.
