Aston Villa star Trezeguet says Mo Salah help him decide to move to England
Aston Villa winger Trezeguet says Liverpool superstar Mo Salah was influential in him making a move to English football.
The 25-year-old completed an £8.75 million move () to Dean Smith’s side this summer, but has revealed he had other, more lucrative offers on the table just before.

Trezeguet claims those offers were from ‘high profileteams in the countries they play, but he snubbed their interest after Salah talked up the Premier League to him.
Speaking in an interview after of Villa’s game with Liverpool this weekend, Trezeguet said: “I had other offers than were maybe more significant. Not in terms of the league, but more attractive financially.
“He [Salah] always used to talk to me, and he would tell me that I should come here, because here I would be able to do things for my country and for myself./p>

It’s been a fairly average start to life for Trezeguet in the English top-flight following his move, and he is yet to score in 11 appearances for his new club.
