Aston Villa reportedly set to complete deal for El Ghazi within 24 hours
Aston Villa will make Anwar El Ghazi’s loan deal from Lille permanent within the next 24 hours,
They that Dean Smith is keen to tie down the winger after an impressive loan spell at Villa Park, which culminated in him opening the scoring in the 2-1 play-off final win over Derby at Wembley.
The pre-agreed fee in the loan deal is to be £8 million, which looks like pretty decent value given the threat that he offered for the Villans and the fact that fellow winger Albert Adomah has left the club already this summer.
El Ghazi will follow Jota through the door, after the Spanish forward moved across the city, with Gary Gardner going the other way.

The key for Villa – having had to wait longer to gain promotion by going through the play-offs – is to get their business done as soon as possible.
And when they have a player in El Ghazi who they know enjoyed his time in the West Midlands, with a pre-agreed fee all ready to go, it makes sense that the wheels are in motion.
Villa can have a real crack in the Premier League next season but keeping the momentum going is key.
