Aston Villa now set to abandon £30m deal despite advanced talks with player not keen on move

TBR Football have now received information on the situation involving Aston Villa and Sevilla No.22 Loic Bade.

Sources claimed on Monday that Aston Villa were in advanced talks to sign Bade in a £30m deal – after making good progress in discussions with the Frenchman’s ♊representatives.

Aston Villa have even sanctioned the £10m sale of Diego Carlos to F♚enerbahce to make space for the 24-year-ওold.

Now – however – TBR Football have received an update on Loic Bade which Aston Villa fans might not like to hear.

Loic Bade rejects Aston Villa move

Graeme Bailey – Chief Correspondent at TBR Football – has now been tܫold that Aston Villa are ready to walk away from this deal.

We understand Bade has decided against a return to the Premier League – where he spent time on loan at Nottingham Forest in the 2022/23 campaign – just 𒆙as talks were reach🔥ing an advanced stage.

Sources have also informed TBR Football that Aston Villa will now move on andꦰ try to make progress with other targets after the central defender opt♔ed to stay in Spain.

Furthermore, Sevilla are believed to have enquired about Aston Villa No.26 Lamare Bogardꦅe during talks with the Villans – with Championship sides also making contact – although Unai Emery is keen to keep theꦯ Dutchman at Villa Park.

The 21-year-o𒉰ld has made three starts in the Premier League so far this season.

Chelsea No.2 Axel Disasi is of interest

It remains to be seen who Aston Villa moꦰve on to after Bade decided to stay at Sevilla.

However – before talks with Sevilla started to advance – TBR Football were told Aston Villa asked Chelsea about Axel Disasi, with the Blues keen🅰 to offload the France international.

It remains to be seen whether Aston Villa take✱ another look at the Frenchman after what happened with Bade – although the Chelsea No.2 is a player of interest at Villa Park.
