Aston Villa might have to be patient as QPR reportedly play Scott Hogan waiting game

🧔Aston Villa are reportedly ready to let Scott Hogan leave the club this summer. Despite a recent winning goal in a friendly against Shrewsbury Town, the Republic of Ireland international is considered surplus to requirements at Villa Park. 

🐈He spent the second half of last season on loan at Sheffield United, after struggling to usurp the likes of Tammy Abraham and Jonathan Kodjia in Aston Villa’s attack. 

𝔍Aston Villa have since brought in Wesley Moraes and Hogan is reportedly wanted by QPR.

However♚, Aston Villa may have to wait for QPR to come calling. 

💙QPR boss Mark Warburton is keen on signing the player he brought to Brentford five years ago this summer.

However, 𒆙 the Championship side are biding their time to make a deal happen. 

ꦐIt seems QPR are waiting till the last minute to do a deal in order to get a new striker in at the best possible price. It was a tactic that worked for them last season with Nahki Wells and Tomer Hemed. This summer Hogan, along with Jordan Hugill, is being targeted. 

🔯 to bring Hogan from Brentford in January 2017. However, he has struggled for form and fitness at Villa Park and Aston Villa will want to shift his wages this summer. 

๊But it appears they may have to wait until the 8th August if QPR is Hogan’s most likely destination.
