Report: Aston Villa make £20m move for Stoke City goalkeeper Jack Butland
Aston Villa are ready to bid £20 million for Stoke City goalkeeper Jack Butland,
Butland is currently England’s second choice goalkeepe🧔r behind Jordan Pickford and will go in search of Premier League football this summe♈r.
Villa boss Dean Smith is keen to add another stopper to his ranks during the close season and is set to⛄ test Stoke’s resolve.
The Potters value their firꩲst choice🦄 custodian at £23 million, but Villa are hoping to negotiate a slightly lower fee.

Jed ꧃Steer kept goal for the Villans during the second ღhalf of last season, but some competition is definitely required between the posts.
Bournemouth and Crystal Palace have been other potential admirers of the custodian, but have both baulked at🦹 Stoke’s valuation.
TBR Verdict
Butland is a ෴tremen🐽dous goalkeeper and £20 million would represent a decent deal.
The stopper is desperate to revive his England chances and make a genuine attempt at wrestling the gloves away from Jord﷽an Pickford.
In order to do that he knows he must be playing in the top-flight and V🐓illa looks like a good move.

For starters, the club needs another ‘keeper. Jed Steer has bee💝n brilliant during the last three months, but he doesn’t have any Premier League experience.
Butland would almost certainly claim the number one mantle and he would enhance Villa’s chances of staving off the threa🐽t of relegation no end.
