Aston Villa fans want Smith to play teenager Kesler after end-of-season injury to Cash
Aston Villa fans are eager for Dean Smith to hand teenager defender Kaine Kesler after the Villians manager confirmed that Matty Cash will miss the remaining fixtures of the Premier League season.
The Villa boss that the 23-year-old defender will the last two games of the season following the Midlands-based club’s 3-2 loss to Crystal Palace this weekend, with Cash missing out through a hamstring injury.

Ahemd Elmohamady took the right-back spot against the Eagles, with the Egyptian international playing a role in the hosts’ equalising goal as Wilfried Zaha’s shot bounced off the 33-year-old defender, who made his eighth start of the season in the league, yet despite his experience, Villa fans on social media want to see Smith hand a start to teenage defender Kaine Kesler with Cash ruled out for the remaining games of the campaign.
Kesler has made the Premier League bench on numerous occasions for Villa, though the 18-year-old right-back is yet to make a league appearance for the villains, and for supporters on social media, they are keen for the youngster to take up the spot with Cash now out of action.
