Aston Villa fans thrilled by Callum O’Hare loan to Coventry
Aston Villa playmaker Callum O’Hare has joined Coventry City on a season-long loan – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter are thrilled by the news.
The Midlands giants have confirmed () that the 21-year-old has completed his temporary move to the League One club.
His chances of getting opportunities in the Premier League looked limited and manager Dean Smith has sanctioned his loan.
He spent the second half of last season on loan with Carlisle United in League Two and is now linking up with a Coventry outfit that sit third in League One after the opening four rounds of fixtures.
O’Hare is a highly-rated youngster that has come through the academy ranks at Villa and has played in the first-team nine times.
The attacking midfielder is a technical player that prefers the number 10 role behind the striker and has an eye for goal.
He will be hoping to have a serious impact with Coventry, who are sharing grounds with Birmingham City this campaign at St Andrew’s.

A selection of Villa supporters on social media are convinced that O’Hare’s switch to Coventry is a great step for his development.
The English creator needs to take giant strides forward if he’s going to eventually turn into a top-flight player.
Here are some Villa fans delighted with the O’Hare move:
