Aston Villa fans react to Trezeguet’s performance in 2-1 away defeat against Wolves
Aston Villa were incredibly slow out of the blocks in yesterday’s West Midlands derby against Wolves at Molineux, slipping to a 2-1 defeat.
Ruben Neves was afforded far too much space to place home the opening goal in the first half before Adama Traore beat Neil Taylor all ends up to lay on Raul Jimenez to make it two.
Trezeguet pulled a goal back for Villa late on, squeezing his shot over the line but it was too little too late for the visitors who didn’t do enough all afternoon.
But many supporters on Twitter were keen to praise the Egyptian wideman for his efforts throughout the match, feeling he deserved a goal.

Villa host Newcastle next up in a match of huge significance because if they keep playing like this, they will find themselves in a season-long relegation battle.
But if Trezeguet can keep trying to drive his side forward ?and if Jack Grealish is back to take on more of the creative mantle soon ?Dean Smith’s side are capable of providing more attacking invention than they showed at Molineux.
Only decent player today attacking wise?
