Aston Villa fans react to reported interest in Emiliano Buendia

Aston Villa are reportedly interested in Norwich City’s Emiliano Buendia – and some of the club’s fans on Twitter believe he would be a great signing for them.

, the Midlands giants are keen on the 22-year-old from Premier League rivals Norwich.

It is understood that manager Dean Smith admirers the Argentinian attacker, but it’s likely he would cost over £20million.

Buendia has started 12 of the 13 league games so far this season for Norwich, but was used off the bench on Saturday in the 2-0 win for the over Everton.

The right-winger is yet to get himself on the scoresheet, but does have four assists and is a skilful playmaker that can link up play well in attack.

His Norwich team currently sit 18th in the league table and are only a point behind 17th-placed Villa.

A selection of Villa supporters on social media have claimed that Buendia would be a top addition to their side, but feel it would be an extremely tough deal to pull off.

He was one of the standout players in the Championship last season and looks like he can have success in the top-flight as he develops.

Smith was given a significant budget in the summer to strengthen the squad, but reports suggest he would have to spend big again to land Norwich’s maestro.
