French club Lille are reportedly looking to throw Anwar El Ghazi on the scrapheap this summer, despite the winger impressing on loan at Aston Villa – and the Championship side’s fans have reacted on Twitter.
that the 23-year-old has no future at Lille, with the Ligue 1 outfit desperate to sell him despite only luring him to France from Ajax in the summer of 2017.
El Ghazi has been decent for Villa. In and out of the starting line-up, the two-time Netherlands international has scored five goals for Dean Smith’s side – and created another six in assists.

It remains to be seen how much Lille will want for El Ghazi, who has a contract at the French outfit until the summer of 2021. But Villa could do with additions out wide.
They lost Yannick Bolasie in the January window, as he returned to Everton before going on loan to RSC Anderlecht. It leaves them with just Andre Davis and El Ghazi as natural, first-team wingers.
Villa fans reacted to the news that Lille want to sell El Ghazi on a permanent basis come the end of the season, and the majority of supporters urged their club to complete a deal for the trickster.
He's ours anyway. We love you Anwar 👌🏽
