Aston Villa fans react to performance of Louie Barry during under-23 win
Aston Villa under-23s were at their very best this afternoon as they defeated Wolves 3-1 in their latest Premier League 2 contest – with striker Louie Barry catching the eye.
The Villans completed the win thanks to a brace from the former Barcelona talent and another goal by Aaron Ramsey during a relatively comfortable afternoon.
Barry is still only 17-years-old but is already playing regularly with the club’s under-23 ranks and in truth, he looks like becoming a really decent player at Villa Park.
The teenager has featured in all of the club’s under-23 outings this season and got his just rewards with his first goals against Wolves.

It looks like being a big season for Barry who finds himself playing with the under-23s despite his tender years.
Barry made the switch to Villa Park from the Catalan giants in a deal worth £880,000 back in January.
He failed to make a significant impact during his six months at the Nou Camp and the La Liga club made the decision to offload him.
He checked in at Barcelona from Villa’s rivals in the West Midlands, West Bromwich Albion, where he excelled in the youth ranks.
Following his latest goals for Villa, we looked at what their supporters were saying about Barry on social media.
Thought Wolves started well and they were bigger physically but the skill and talent we have in that side which was full of 17/18 year olds is phenomenal and a really good sign for the future.
