Aston Villa fans react to links with Liverpool’s Rhian Brewster
that Aston Villa want to sign Rhian Brewster on loan from Liverpool has attracted a strong response from some Villa fans on Twitter.
Brewster looks set to be on the move in the January transfer window. The Daily Mirror reports that the Reds are ready to let the 19-year-old leave for the second-half of the campaign. And he is attracting a lot of attention.
, Villa have been joined by Crystal Palace, Leeds United and Swansea City in the race for his signature.
And it appears that most Villa fans would actually be happy to see one of his other admirers win the race ahead of Dean Smith’s side.
Some do not want to see the Villans target any loan deals in January. And plenty are not overly excited about the prospect of Brewster coming in.
The Reds striker has only featured twice for Jurgen Klopp’s men this term, with both appearances coming in the Carabao Cup.
And while there is no shame in not being able to break into Liverpool’s lineup at the moment, some are not convinced that he will make a big difference for Smith’s men.
