Aston Villa fans react on Twitter to Trezeguet announcement
Plenty of Aston Villa fans have taken to Twitter to comment on concerning Trezeguet.
Villa fans will have been fearing the worst as the Egyptian came off the field during Saturday’s defeat to Liverpool.

The winger was visibly upset as he was substituted at Anfield. And that Trezeguet will have to undergo surgery on his knee.
It was noted that he had suffered ligament damage. Unfortunately, the club did not put a timescale on how long he is expected to be out for.

Understandably, the supporters are fearful that he is set for a significant spell out of the team.
Trezeguet – who earns £32,500-a-week, – has not had the easiest time since joining Villa. And it did appear that he had fallen closer to the periphery of Dean Smith’s plans this season.
However, he had enjoyed a good run in the team since the start of March. And he inspired the recent turnaround against Fulham with a quick fire brace.
‘Sad news’
The fans have also clearly been left hugely impressed with the effort he puts in. And they desperate for the wide-man to make as swift a return to the fold as possible.
With that in mind, here is what some of the Villa fans were saying in the wake of the announcement…
