Aston Villa fans react on Twitter to links with Liverpool’s Divock Origi
A number of Aston Villa fans have taken to Twitter to comment on that the Villans are interested in Liverpool striker Divock Origi.
Dean Smith is reportedly looking to bolster his attacking options this summer. Wesley and Mbwana Samatta scored six Premier League goals between them, while no Villa player reached double figures.

that Villa want Ollie Watkins. But it is also suggested that they are interested in Origi.
The Mirror notes that it has not yet been determined whether the Belgian will be made available this summer.

Origi featured in 28 of Liverpool’s Premier League games last season. However, he only started seven times. He did manage to score four times for the Reds.
‘Whatever it takes’
Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Villa fans appear to be divided on the reports. Origi has proved that he has a lot of talent, and there is no question that he has scored some critical goals for Jurgen Klopp’s men.
Nevertheless, some have suggested that they would be underwhelmed if he moved to Villa Park during this window.
However, there are plenty who hope that Villa can get a deal across the line for the Liverpool man this summer. With a regular starting spot, some fans clearly believe that he could be an inspired addition.
Here is how some of the supporters have reacted to the rumours…
YES! He has experience from big games even if he’s just been a sub mostly. Trained with 1 of the best team in the world for years.
He can be great, I don’t even see it as a gamble🎲

Nah, go after Edouard, Abraham, or Watkins instead.

Why not ?

Whatever it takes to get Origi. He could be a top player with Villa.

Wouldn’t say no

I’d prefer Abraham but that isn’t happening imo. Possibly would prefer Iheanacho and Edouard but fine margins and arguably comes down to price. We can’t afford top flight, proven goalscorer, so every option has a risk attached to it
