Aston Villa fans react on Twitter to Kortney Hause’s display at Chelsea
A number of Aston Villa fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Kortney Hause’s display as the Villans drew 1-1 with Chelsea on Monday.
Dean Smith’s side produced another outstanding performance to take a point from their trip to Stamford Bridge. Villa certainly had their opportunities to grab the win.

Anwar El Ghazi had equalised five minutes into the second-half. And the likes of John McGinn and Jacob Ramsey came agonisingly close to finding what would have been a winner.
But Villa also required another superb defensive display. Once again, Matty Cash and Matt Targett were revelations out wide. Meanwhile, Emi Martinez was solid yet again.

But many felt that Ezri Konsa and Hause proved to be a brilliant partnership. It was the first time this season that the pair had started alongside each other in the Premier League.
Konsa was excellent. But plenty of fans have taken to social media to laud Hause’s performance.
It has not been the easiest time for the 25-year-old since Villa’s promotion. But he did well after initially coming in following Konsa’s injury. And he has continued to do well with Tyrone Mings suspended.
In fact, several have suggested that Mings should not automatically regain his place. They have backed Hause and Konsa to continue for the time-being.
Here is how some of the supporters reacted to Hause’s display against the Blues…
I really believed El Ghazi and Hause were not good enough for the . I was wrong!! Both have taken their opportunity and played so well.

I’d be surprised if Mings starts next game. Hause has been exceptional since he came in and konsa is undoubtedly the best centre half at the club, phenomenal player

Terrific performance again. Konsa, Hause immense. SJM as well. A great bunch of lads.

I was really worried we’d concede from a set piece today. Chelsea have been banging them in from set pieces this season. But we looked so comfortable at every single one we defended. Hause and Konsa did brilliantly at the back tonight 👏

Emi, Cash, Konsa, Hause and Targett. Magnificent. McGinn on another planet.

Great point for Villa. Could have taken all 3. Completely transformed from last season. McGinn, Konsa and Hause – immense.
