Aston Villa fans react on Twitter to Kasper Hjulmand reports

A number of Aston Villa fans have taken to Twitter to comment on ไreports claiming that the club are interested in appointing Kasper Hjulmandꦺ with Dean Smith no longer in charge of the Villans.

𒀰Smith looked to be in a precarious situation at Villa Park. His side had lost their last five in the Premier League. And they found themselves within touching distance of the relegation zone.

Villa have now been linked with a couple of names, with club confirming on Sunday that Smith has gone. 🐓Paulo Fonseca’s representatives have reportedly received informal contact from the Villans.

🐎And a new name has now entered the frame. , Hjulmand is also wanted by Villa.

🎃The 49-year-old has enjoyed a fantastic spell as head coach of Denmark. Of course, he led his side to the semi-final of Euro 2020 where they took the lead against England.

🅺And they are one of two countries to have already qualified for next year’s World Cup. The Danes, so far, boast a flawless record in their qualifying group.

💦His record at club level is a lot more underwhelming. His only experience in one of Europe’s biggest leagues came at Mainz. However, his tenure only lasted 24 games.

🐠So it is probably little surprise that most of the Villa fans are not overly keen on Hjulmand replacing Smith.

💝Many feel that it is too much of a gamble to appoint someone with such a mixed CV and no experience of the Premier League.

🍸However, there are a couple of Villa fans who have suggested that Hjulmand would be a fantastic option. They are clearly impressed with the work he has done with Denmark.

🎃This is clearly the best suggestion so far. He’s done wonders with the Dennark team and is seen as a very modern builder. Maybe too modern for the fanbase though? He ain’t no Roy Hodgson
