Aston Villa fans react on Twitter to Callum O’Hare’s loan heroics
Aston Villa fans have been singing the praises of youngster Callum O’Hare as he once again proved the hero for loan club Coventry City.
Coventry were facing off with Blackpool at St Andrew’s and found themselves 2-0 down after a Sullay Kaikai brace. However, goals from Matt Godden and Wesley Jobello had Coventry level by half-time.
In the 90th minute, O’Hare drive into the box from attacking midfield and toe-poked a powerful finisher beyond Jak Alnwick to give the Sky Blues all three points.

The goal was not his only telling moment. O’Hare’s quick-feet forced former Aston Villa youngster Nathan Delfouneso off with a hamstring injury as he tried to keep up with the current Villa talent. With all their substitutes out of the game, Blackpool had to play on with 10 men.
The 21-year-old scored a crucial goal against Oxford United last weekend in a 3-3 draw and it certainly seems he is enjoying his loan spell at the League One club.
O’Hare is a popular figure with the Aston Villa fanbase. Many feel he has shown himself worthy of more regular playing time with the first-team at Villa Park, without receiving just reward.
Hopefully, he can continue his current form and work his way into the first-team picture at Aston Villa in the long-term.
