Aston Villa fans react on Twitter to Axel Tuanzebe reports
A number of Aston Villa fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports that the club are monitoring Axel Tuanzebe with Manchester United ready to loan the youngster out this summer.
Tuanzebe has reportedly grown frustrated with his lack of game-time at Old Trafford. The 23-year-old only started four Premier League games last season.

And it seems that he could return to Villa Park. Tuanzebe has previously joined the club on loan on two occasions while they were in the Championship.
that he is expected to leave Old Trafford on loan. that Villa are keeping tabs on his situation.

He actually made 30 appearances during his full season with the Villans. And he played in the play-off final win over Derby. Unsurprisingly, he was linked with an immediate return to Villa following their promotion.
Interestingly, some are not too convinced about the idea of Tuanzebe returning this time around. They fear that he would not get into Dean Smith’s strongest side.
Others however, have insisted that he would be a brilliant signing. Villa certainly need more depth at the heart of their backline.
And some have suggested that they could see Tuanzebe pushing Tyrone Mings for his spot alongside Ezri Konsa.
With that in mind, here is what some of the fans are saying…
‘Great player’: Aston Villa fans excited by Tuanzebe links
Interesting one because he wouldn’t come in and start so if it was a loan with the aim of starting consistently he would be better off going elsewhere because he’s more likely to start for someone with less quality

I think Konsa or Tuabzebe could become a top DM just like Declan Rice

If Smith thinks we need him then I don’t see any harm in a loan deal until something more permanent is found.

1000% get him back in… Top young talent. Would push Mings and Konsa + would be an incredible insurance policy. We could even go 5 at the back and allow Targett/Cash to bomb forward — gives us formational flexibility if Deano’s ever feeling brave. Like Hause but Tuanzebe >>

I’d have gone back in a heartbeat, young so fits the DS model. Would he get in above Konsa or Mings?? Definitely an upgrade on Engels but expect would be £10m+ for a squad player.

Would love this signing, strengthens the squad depth which we lacked a little last season, would be yet another player who can push others for a first team spot and get even better.

If we did sign him, there’s no reason why he can’t get better and provide competition for Ty and Ezri. Ty can be error prone and someone who could take his place is needed, IMO

Definitely was a good player for us and will only get better

Sign Axel , great player
