Aston Villa fans react as club reportedly after Nottingham Forest star
Aston Villa are reportedly rivalling Leeds United, Sheffield United and AC Milan in pursuit of Nottingham Forest right-back Matty Cash – and Villa supporters think he would be a good addition this summer.
Cash, 23, played a crucial part in Nottingham Forest’s excellent pursuit of the Championship play-offs – missing just three league games all season as he made the right-back slot his own under the guidance of Sabri Lamouchi.
But with Forest failing to even reach the play-offs, Cash could be tempted to leave the City Ground. Certainly, the versatile Forest ace is not short of suitors – with Italian giants AC Milan even said to be considering a move.

Milan are keen – as are Leeds United and Aston Villa in pursuit of Cash. Sheffield United seem to be out at the front in terms of trying to sign the Forest ace, having made a £10million bid for the right-back.
However, that Forest want in the region of £15million for Cash. Villa currently boast Frederic Guilbert and Ahmed Elmohamady as options on the right side of their defence.
Aston Villa supporters reacted to the reports that they could go after Forest star Cash, and some believe he would be a good signing ahead of the 2020-21 campaign. Others, though, are not as sure.
Of the many names I have seen linked with Aston Villa in the past two weeks – (over one thousand by now surely?) – the name Matty Cash is one that doesn't feel me with a tinge of disappointment.

Agree, albeit price a little steep.

We do need a right back, assuming we move Elmo on as seems likely.
Id prefer Cash to Guilbert tbh
