Aston Villa fans react as club linked with late move for Leandro Trossard
Aston Villa are reportedly looking to hijack Brighton & Hove Albion’s £18million move to sign KRC Genk captain Leandro Trossard – and Aston Villa fans have reacted on Twitter to the news.
that Brighton are closing in on an eight-figure move to sign 24-year-old wing wizard Trossard, who was key in Genk’s Jupiler League Pro triumph last season.
The winger clocked up 22 goals from out wide, as well as showing his creative touch with 11 assists during 47 league and cup outings. He even found the back of the net on three occasions in the Europa League.

However, it is believed that Brighton are closing in on a move to sign the wing wizard, after agreeing a fee of £18million for the uncapped Belgium star. The Premier League looks a likely avenue.
Villa do have options out wide, especially after bringing in Anwar El Ghazi from Lille on a permanent basis and Jota from Birmingham City. But it appears Dean Smith’s men want more.
Villa fans have taken to Twitter after hearing of the news that their club were interested in hijacking Brighton’s move for Trossard, and many are confident he would be a good signing for the Midlands club if Villa do complete a late transfer.
Think you’re right, there’s a reason why his agent couldn’t do a deal with Brighton, they were the only ones in for him at that point, would be a great signing if we could get it done

If Villa want him Brighton won’t be in pole position!

Looks decent with both feet. I like him already which means he will probably end up elsewhere.

No doubt we could do with the goals though! Lacking atm.
