Aston Villa fans react as Chelsea midfielder Ross Barkley is linked
Aston Villa are considering a loan move for Chelsea midfielder Ross Barkley before the transfer deadline – and their supporters have been reacting on Twitter.
The former Everton player has struggled to hold down a regular place in Frank Lampard’s team and now claim a move could be on the cards.
Barkey has been at Stamford Bridge since January 2018 when he signed for the Blues from Chelsea for £15 million .
The 26-year-old has played 88 games for the Blues scoring 11 goals and registering 11 assists in that time.

Regular first-team football might be ideal for the midfielder and Deam Smith is prepared to offer it to him for the 2020/21 campaign.
Villa won their first Premier League game 1-0 against Sheffield United but the Villans boss would dearly like to add to his squad ahead of the deadline.
Barkley earns £96,000-a-week at Chelsea and the Blues would welcome the chance to get some of that salary off the wage bill after a hectic summer of spending.
Following the latest news linking Villa with a move for Barkley, the club’s supporters have taken to Twitter to discuss the potential deal.
Here is a selection of Tweets from Villa fans with the 33-time England international linked with a move to the club.
Awesome!
So Barkley-Luiz-Mcginn would dangerous in 3 midfield with Grealish & Watkins, Traoure in 3 forward.
I would preferred get Milot Rascha and move Grealish in centre midfield with licensed free-roam indeed loan Barkley as his wage is expensive I would welcome loan to buy.— Daniel Powell (@DJPowell1984)
Would be fantastic

Would take this in a heartbeat. Its not like he's 21 and we would be developing him for Chelsea. He's 26, so coming into his peak. Got loads to prove, Euros coming up. Even if it was just a loan, its a no brained for me
