Aston Villa fans criticise Anwar El Ghazi for his latest performance
Aston Villa suffered a 2-0 away defeat to Sheffield United on Saturday afternoon in the Premier League and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter were fuming with the perfjoamcne of Anwar El Ghazi
Dean Smith’s side now have just one point from their last three league games and could slip into the relegation places on Saturday evening still.
John Fleck’s second-half brace for hosts Sheffield United gifted them three points at Bramall Lane and it also moved them up to fifth in the table.
Villa really struggled in the final third to test the Blades defence and captain Jack Grealish even saw a penalty cannon off the crossbar.
The Midlands club now need to try brush themselves down before a League Cup quarter-final on Tuesday night, but the league form is starting to get quite concerning.

A selection of Villa supporters on social media picked out El Ghazi as one of the poor performers on the day.
The Dutch winger was substituted off in the 80th minute after struggling to create a spark in attack for his side, but he wasn’t the only player guilty of that.
He’s a 24-year-old wide man that didn’t enjoy his finest display against Sheffield United, but has been directly involved in nine goals in just 17 games this season.
Here are some Villa fans on El Ghazi:
