Aston Villa fans call Anwar El Ghazi an £8million bargain with deal reportedly close
Aston Villa are reportedly close to signing Anwar El Ghazi on a permanent basis – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter believe he will be a bargain at £8million.
, the Midlands giants could complete the deal within the next 24 hours for the 24-year-old after he impressed on loan with them this season.
It is understood that Dean Smith’s side have triggered an option to buy the attacker permanently from French club Lille and the fee is set to be £8million.
El Ghazi played an important role in the club’s promotion from the Championship this season, which including scoring in the play-off final win against Derby County at Wembley.
The tricky winger made 36 appearances across all competitions for Villa, scoring six goals and supplying six assists in return.
He is a skilful attacker that can play on either flank and he popped up with some vital moments throughout the course of the campaign.

The Dutchman is believed to be extremely close to joining Smith’s squad on a full-time basis and he will be part of the group that will be looking to make a positive impact next season back in the Premier League.
