Dean Smith may have just discovered ‘the next Michael Owen’ at Aston Villa
Aston Villa have several incredibly talented youngsters in their ranks who look set for stardom.
The likes of Jacob Ramsey, Aaron Ramsey, Caleb Chukwuemeka, Carney Chukwuemeka and Louie Barry have all been tipped for great careers.
Cameron Archer is another one firmly on that list, and on Tuesday, he got himself his second hat-trick of the season.

Villa Under-21s ran out 4-2 winners away at Burton in the Papa John’s Trophy, coming from two goals down to secure a superb victory.
The Brewers scored twice in four first-half minutes, courtesy of Daniel Jebbison and Kane Hemmings.
Archer not only netted a hat-trick in response, but also provided an assist for Tristan Goodridge to get on the scoresheet.
The 19-year-old has registered a staggering 10 goals from just eight Villa appearances at senior and age level this term.
Archer’s other hat-trick this season came in the Carabao Cup, putting three past Barrow en route to a 6-0 win in August.
Some Aston Villa fans have even compared him to Michael Owen, one of the most clinical strikers in world football in his prime:
Archer wtf I feel like we’ve got the next Michael Owen ffs how is this happening and where did he come from?

Its just happened so quickly.
Wtf.
He wasn’t even mentioned in the summer. It was Barry or Young. Fair play to him. Taking his chance.

I’ve said it before but his finishing quality reminds me of Michel Owen, anyone else? 🤷

Born in Walsall on 9 December 2001, Archer joined the Villa ranks aged six.
He broke into the Under-23 side at the age of 16 and has been a regular ever since.
As per the Villa , Archer “is a lively attacker who brings pace and creativity to any team.”
He made his Villa debut in 2019-20, against Crewe in the Carabao Cup.
