Aston Villa are set to sign ‘talented’ player in the next few days
Aston Villa have had an interesting summer transfer window so far.
The Midlands club have sold Douglas Luiz, while they’ve landed two former Juventus players in exchange alongside signing Ian Maatsen and Ross Barkley.
The Villans have added plenty of depth ahead of of their upcoming Champions League campaign, but there’s a feeling that they may still be a weaker side having lost Luiz.
Villa need to add to their midfield if they are to maintain the levels they showed last season, and, luckily, it sounds as though reinforcements may be on the way.

Amadou Onana to Aston Villa set to be completed this week
, Aston Villa are set to finalise the signing of Amadou Onana from Aston Villa before this weekend.
The Belgian has been linked with a move to Villa for a little while now, and it looks as though we’re reaching a conclusion on this front.
Everything is said to be agreed between all parties here, and now, all that’s left is for the deal to be officially announced.
Aston Villa’s midfield will be different
Amadou Onana is arriving at Villa as the replacement for Douglas Luiz, and that is a very interesting prospect to say the least.
Onana and Luiz are two very different players, and this could a sign that Villa are looking to change things up a bit tactically.
That said, Onana could instead play the Boubacar Kamara role this season with Youri Tielemans or Ross Barkley playing the more advanced creative role that Luiz used to occupy in Unai Emery’s side.
Onana is a ‘’ player with bags of potential, and with the right coaching, he could become a star.
The Belgian is now set to work under a truly world-class coach in the shape of Unai Emery, and we could see the midfielder transform this term under the Spanish coach.
