Aston Villa and Arsenal among the Premier League clubs offered striker likened to Robert Lewandowski

TBR Football can exclusively confirm that Aston Villa and Arsenal are among the Premier League clubs who have been offered the chance to sign Victor Boniface.

Aston Villa are set to sell Jhon Duran to Al-Nassr, so they’ll be a striker down. Ollie Watkins is also being targeted by Arsenal.

Meanwhile, Arsenal are in pursuit of attacking reinforcements after losing Gabriel Jesus and Bukayo Saka to injury in recent weeks.

However, a number of other leading Premier League clubs have also been offered the opportunity to sign the Bayer Leverkusen ace.

Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham and Manchester United offered Victor Boniface

TBR Football chief correspondent Graeme Bailey understands that Victor Boniface is being offered around the Premier League after his move to Saudi Arabia collapsed due to Jhon Duran’s move.

The Saudi Pro League agreed a deal in excess of £50million with Bayer Leverkusen with the intention of playing for Al-Nassr, but they instead have opted for Duran.

Now Boniface, who is widely admired in the England, has become the subject of conversation at a number of clubs.

Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United all have historic interest in Boniface and have been made aware of his situation.

And one of those who the idea has been put to by intermediaries is ironically Aston Villa.

Villa, having allowed Duran to depart, are looking at options and we are told that Mathys Tel and Evan Ferguson are on their radar.

Leverkusen, for their part are happy to bring Boniface back into their fold, but they are in a situation knowing that they were willing to let him leave this month.

What Boniface could bring to the Premier League

Boniface would be a solid signing for any of Arsenal, Aston Villa, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United.

Boniface, who Xabi Alonso previously deemed “complete”, hasn’t had much game time this season but he’s still managed a decent goal tally.

In addition, the website has compared Boniface to Barcelona and Bayern Munich icon Robert Lewandowski.

‘Lewandowski is an all-time Bundesliga great to which very few can compare, but Boniface does share plenty of traits with the legendary Pole,’ they wrote.

‘He is an all-round centre forward, good with both feet, physically powerful, good in the air and possesses a surprisingly good dribbling ability.

‘While the 24-year-old may have a long way to go to match Lewandowski’s achievements, he has already had a decisive impact on his team’s fortunes.’

Arsenal may fancy their chances a bit more than the others, as Boniface revealed in 2023 that the Gunners were one of the teams he supported as a youngster.
