Asmir Begovic says Everton have a player in their squad who is genuinely ‘world class’
Everton’s start to the season has certainly been turbulent to say the very least as they remain struggling around the bottom of the table.
Sean Dyche may be encouraged by what he has seen in recent weeks with Everton having put their first points on the board.
The Toffees have🦩 five points to their name as they sit just outsid𒈔e of the relegation zone following their opening seven games of the term.
However, there is a golden opportunity to put another three points on the board with a game against Ipswich Town 📖coming this w🎶eekend.
But it seems as if there is a real feelꦛing at Goodison Park among the players that they have the quality needed to pull away from the relegation battle.

Speaking on , Begovic has discussed the current crop of players at Goodison with Jordan Pickford really impressing him.
“I think that’s where he’s matured really well [his mentality]. I’ve seen him for three years and work with him on a daily basis, and seen his quality,” Beg🍎ovic said.
“And, you know, I can genuinely say he’s world class. So I’ve seen him wi𝔉th my own two eyes, and worked with him. And, you know, we’ve pushed each other, gained respect, and, of course, we’re friends now.
“So I think he’s developed over the years. He’s getting to an age now where he’s coming into his best age of ෴his career, having done what he’s done.”
Troy Deeney admits Jordan Pickford has proven him wrong
A lot is often made of Pickford’s demeanor between the sticks during games a𓄧nd that was apparent in England’s recent game against Greece.
But Pickford received bi𝄹g praise from Troy Deeney during Everton’s recent draw against Newcastle United.
“I’ve given Jordan a lot of stick over the course of this season because I think he’s played awful at times, but now🍰 I’m going to give him his flowe❀rs,” Deeney said.
With Pickford proving a number of people wrong, it is clear how important he has becomꦚe to keeping Everton afloat over recent seasons.
