As Inter Milan prepare to sell Christian Eriksen, Tottenham are seeing the best of Giovani Lo Celso – TBR View
Just six months on from selling Christian Eriksen, it looks like Tottenham have got the better of the deal with Giovani Lo Celso coming into his own of late.
Back in January, Spurs finally caved and allowed Eriksen to move away from the club for a fee being around £16.9m.

At the same time, the club announced the permanent signing of Lo Celso. The midfielder moving to north London for a fee of around £27m, according to the .
And it looks like Spurs might have got the better end of a transfer deal for once. surfacing yesterday claimed that Eriksen could already be on his way out of Inter, with Antonio Conte unimpressed with the Danish midfielder’s form.

Indeed, claims a fee of around £55m could be enough to tempt Inter into selling a player they’ve only had for six months.
So, it looks like Spurs have got the better of the deal. After being ridiculed by many for essentially wasting a lot of the Gareth Bale money a few years back, Daniel Levy will be delighted to see something come off.
Lo Celso a different type of player but looks the real deal
Despite some patchy form throughout the season, Jose Mourinho’s men have clicked into gear in the last week or so.
A good win over Arsenal in the NLD was followed by an excellent 3-1 win at Newcastle last night. And the driving force behind these wins has been, in part, the form of Lo Celso.

The tenacious midfielder looks to have really settled into the swing of things since the restart. Two assists in the last four games show he’s having a bit more influence on proceedings, while it’s only one defeat in eight now for Spurs.
So, while Eriksen continues to struggle over in Italy, it looks like Tottenham – finally – got the better of a transfer deal.
