As Burnley drop out of Harry Wilson race, surely Leeds have to revisit their interest?
Leeds United are still in the hunt for a new attacking midfield player after a deal to bring in Bayern Munich’s Michael Cuisance collapsed at the last minute yesterday.
The Whites, still active in the market despite spending around £70m this summer, are keen on bolstering Marcelo Bielsa’s squad to give the club the best chance possible of securing their Premier League status.

And it’s been a good start, too, with two wins from three and the only loss coming in a hard-fought affair with Liverpool.
However, the deal for Cuisance breaking down has given officials at Elland Road a challenge now. They simply have to get someone over the line before Monday and despite countless names being linked, there’s no sign of anything being close yet.
But, with Burnley for Liverpool’s Harry Wilson, surely the time is now for Leeds to press ahead with interest they have held all summer in the Reds star.
Versatile, creative, and perfect for Leeds
Leeds know all about Wilson from their battles with Derby a few seasons back. Since then, the Welsh international has enjoyed a good spell with Bournemouth, where he scored seven Premier League goals.
Indeed, claimed just yesterday that Leeds are among seven clubs who have expressed interest or bid for Wilson this summer, a suggestion that the 23-year-old is on the move away from Anfield soon.

And Wilson is perfect for Leeds, if they are after someone to fill those advanced midfield roles Marcelo Bielsa deploys. He also brings versatility, given he can play both wings and the number ten role if needed.
Liverpool are said to want around £20m for Wilson, a similar fee to what Leeds were willing to pay for Cuisance.
So, given Burnley’s reluctance to do a deal, the time has never been better for Victor Orta and co to sneak in and sort out a move for the Liverpool starlet.
