Arsenal’s swoop for Praet and Andersen could be hijacked by Giampaolo’s move to Milan
Arsenal’s double swoop on Serie A club Sampdoria is to be delayed while the club’s manager Marco Giampaolo edges closer to a switch to AC Milan.
, Giampaolo is bound for the San Siro, which has slowed down the Gunners’ move for Samp duo Dennis Praet and Joachim Andersen.
They that the Italian club have requested that Arsenal wait until their managerial situation is resolved before the move for the duo is completed.
But it actually goes further and that Giampaolo may actually try and take the pair to Milan with him – or only one if that’s all they can afford.

Of course Arsenal would rather have the deal done sooner rather than later, so they can get Praet and Andersen through the door in time for pre-season.
The major concern must be that the (£44.3m) pair follow their old manager to Milan and the Gunners are forced to look elsewhere after an extended delay.
Milan’s financial situation may give Arsenal hope – it would be a surprise if they could afford both of them – but if one player backs out to reunite with their former manager, it could give the other second thoughts.
