Arsenal have made their first major signing of the summer in the shape of Riccardo Calafiori.

The Italian defender has arrived at the Emirates from Bologna in a £40m deal, and now, Arsenal🉐 are set to turn their attention to another area of the pitch.

According to the journalist, the links to Ruiz may not be that concrete, with Watts claiming that Mikel Merino is someone Arsenal are instead prioritising.

🍰“There have been links to other midfielders. I’ve seen Fabian Ruiz mentioned recently. That’s not one I’ve heard anything on myself yet, but he is a fine player of course.”
