Arsenal’s Declan Rice reacts with five words to Ivan Toney’s Al-Ahli announcement on Instagram
Arsenal made three new additions in the summer transfer window.
Raheem Sterling completed a deadline-day switch to the Emirates, joining Mikel Merino and Riccardo Calafiori through the door.
Many felt Arsenal needed to invest in a specialist striker but Mikel Arteta opted to place his trust in Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus.
With that said, Ivan Toney, who was heavily linked to Arsenal over the last few months, completed a late transfer to Saudi Pro League side Al-Ahli.
And now, Declan Rice has reacted.

Declan Rice sends five-word message to Ivan Toney
Arsenal targetted Ivan Toney during the summer transfer window but ultimately, he made the £40m switch to Al-Ahli on deadline day.
Toney took to Instagram to announce his transfer and Rice, who formed a great relationship with the former Brentford man at Euro 2024, wished him well in the comments section.

Arsenal should target a striker in January
After missing out on Toney, Arsenal should target a striker in the January transfer window as it’s perhaps the weakest area of their squad at the moment.
If they are to close the gap on reigning champions Manchester City this term, they need a specialist number nine who’s capable of firing home 20 goals in the Premier League.
Havertz and Jesus likely won’t reach that tally, so perhaps Edu Gaspar should lodge a bid for Sporting striker Viktor Gyokeres.
The former Coventry City man has an £86m release clause but could likely be negotiated down to around £60m.
Though, there’s always a premium for mid-season deals.
