Arsenal want ‘world class’ player signed soon and added to their pre-season tour of USA
According to a recent report, Arsenal are desperate to sign a highly sought-after player before they travel to the USA for pre-season.
The Gunners have bided their time in the summer transfer window but now appear to be stepping up a notch.
After the financial year ended last month, with the new one now in play, the club are accelerating transfer plans.
With that said, they now hope to complete the signing of a player by July 15 when pre-season begins.

Arsenal want to sign Riccardo Calafiori before USA tour
According to , Arsenal are expected to hold talks with Bologna this week over the fee for Riccardo Calafiori, who has already agreed personal terms with The Gunners.
The 22-year-old shone at Euro 2024 with Italy and clearly impressed Mikel Arteta, who made a left-footed defender his priority target this summer.
Arsenal will now look to complete a deal before they jet off to America for their pre-season tour later this month.
A deal is expected to be completed for a fee in the region of £42m plus add-ons with a five-year deal worth £3.3m-a-year agreed.
Arsenal now need to sign a striker
After completing the Calafiori deal, Arsenal must focus their attentions on signing a striker as that’s an area which seriously needs addressing.
To bridge the gap on title-winners Manchester City, a prolific number nine is needed as Gabriel Jesus isn’t quite making the grade despite a brilliant start to life in North London.
Viktor Gyokeres has been mooted and so too has Ivan Toney but at this stage, a proposal has yet to be made for either.
Perhaps those plans will accelerate once Euro 2024 comes to an end within the next week.
