Arsenal want ‘tremendous’ £15m player who nearly scored outrageous goal for Premier League rivals last weekend

It has certainly been an eventful few days for Nottingham Forest. They have fallen into the relegation zone in the Premier League after being deducted four points. It remains to be seen if the club will appeal the verdict.

The likes of Liverpool, Newcastle United and Chelsea are also keen on the 21-year-old. But Forest are going to be able to expect to make a real profit on the youngster, who signed for £15 million.

Murillo may have mixed feelings about potential Gunners move

Murillo has barely missed a minute in the Premier League since the start of October. And he attracted attention after a ‘‘ attempt to score from inside his own half in their draw with Luton Town at the weekend. Fortunately for the Hatters, Thomas Kaminski was just about able to make the save.

Arsenal have a number of Portuguese-speaking players in their ranks already, with the likes of Gabriel Magalhaes, Gabriel Martinelli, Jorginho and Gabriel Jesus key figures in Mikel Arteta’s squad.

So joining the Gunners may appeal to Murillo. However, he may also wary of moving to the Emirates because Gabriel and William Saliba have been so good together.

Much may depend on whether Forest stay up and what they are able to do in the transfer market this summer. Based on what he has shown this season, there may not be a lot of harm in Murillo staying exactly where he is for another year.
