Arsenal transfer talk: £60m target has wowed Gunners coaches – report
Ahead of the January transfer window, Arsenal have been linked with Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
The Gunners have spent heavily in the summer, but their front line presents issues going into next year.
Arsenal strikers Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah are out of contract in the summer.

Meanwhile, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is out of form, without a Premier League goal since October.
According to , the sense is that neither Aubameyang nor Lacazette quite fit the mould for Arteta’s vision.
Therefore, Arsenal have reportedly identified Calvert-Lewin as a potential transfer target for next year.
The 24-year-old has admirers among Arsenal’s recruitment department and coaching staff, added .
Stylistically, Calvert-Lewin is a different player to Aubameyang and Lacazette.
A strong header of the ball with a physical approach, he’d offer Arsenal the focal point they currently lack.

And given Calvert-Lewin is young and homegrown, he fits in with the Gunners’ new transfer strategy, added the report.
However, his injury record has raised some questions at London Colney.
And the Toffees star isn’t going to be cheap.
He is a young, prolific England international who has recently signed a new contract.
The speculates that Calvert-Lewin could cost Arsenal £60million or more.
Chances are such a signing is likely to take place in the summer if the Gunners go ahead.
Calvert-Lewin a transfer risk for Arsenal – TBR View
Calvert-Lewin certainly ticks a lot of boxes for the Gunners.
He’s young, tall, homegrown, hard-working, a great finisher, and great with his head.
However, he’d cost a staggering amount of money.
That, combined with his injury record, mean Calvert-Lewin would be a risk for the Gunners.
Arsenal desperately need someone who’s consistent as much as he is prolific.
