Arsenal fans may not have heard the last of speculation linking Emile Smith Rowe with a move to Aston Villa in the transfer window, the Villans’ stance on the 20-year-old after seeing a bid rejected.
Villa stunned many by offering £25 million for Smith Rowe. It came with Dean Smith’s men already beating the Gunners to the signature of Emi Buendia.

Smith Rowe was a real shining light for Mikel Arteta’s men. He was unquestionably one of their best players after getting a proper run in the side just before the turn of the year.

It is a surprise to see reports claiming that Villa are still holding out hope for Smith Rowe.
It was suggested this week that Arsenal would not even sell for £75 million, let alone £25 million. So clearly, Villa have got a lot of work to do if they still fancy their chances of completing a deal.
Having said that, Arsenal fans may refuse to get carried away just yet. .
