Arsenal transfer news: Edu Gaspar lining up replacement for Cedric Soares

Cedric Soares is now open to leaving Arsenal this month, with reporting that Edu Gaspar is already lining up a possible replacement.

Mikel Arteta has switched up the look of his back-four this season by moving Ben White ou♎t to right-back to accommodate William ♉Saliba.

Arsenal have been solid defensively and Whitꦍe has adjusted to🎃 his new role in Arteta’s side with ease, meaning Cedric has found opportunities hard to come by.

The Portuguese right-back is yet to start a single game in the Premier League this season after ma💎king 21 appearances in the competition last time out.

Cedric has been heavily linked with a move to newly-promoted Fulham and Edu is eyeing a possible move for Valladolid full-bac🐓k Ivan Fresneda to replace him.

Cedric Soares now open to leaving Arsenal

Arsenal and Fulham remain lock💙ed in talks over a deal for Cedric this month, acco🍌rding to . Edu is already looking at potential replacements for the 31-year-old and is considering making a move for Fresneda.

The Cottagers are attempting to land Cedric on either a loan or permanent deal this month, wit𒊎h Marco Silva keen to reunite with the Arsenal star after working with him at Sporting Lisbon.

Cedri💛c has fallen down the pecking order under Arteta and is open to leaving the club should Arsenal accept an offer for him.

The right-back has only managed to make two substitute appearances in the league this season, with Arteta preferring Takeh🍸iro Tomiyasu as a back-up option to White.

A switch across London to link-up with Silva could be a good move for Cedric, especially as the n♐ewly-promoted side are performing way above expectations at the moment.

But Arteta will be keen to r🔯eplace him, especially as his squad is look𒁃ing slightly thin in other areas of the pitch.

Fresneda is certainly impressing in Spain and at 18-years-old, he ♋could become a brilliant long-term option for Arteta at right-back.
