Arsenal transfer: Fans react to Jonjoe Kenny reports

A number of Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to comment on that the Gunners have discussed a move for Jonjoe Kenny in the transfer window.

Mikel Arteta has been linked with a host of right-backs amid doubts over Hector Bellerin’s future at the Emirates.

The likes of Tariq Lamptey and Emerson Royal are reportedly targets. But the Daily Mail has thrown another name into the mix.

According to them, a move for Everton man Kenny has been discussed. They are also keen on Zeki Celik.

In truth, it is a huge surprise to see Kenny linked with Arsenal. , Arteta has options such as Calum Chambers and Cedric Soares available to him.

The 24-year-old goes into this summer off the back of a hugely disappointing loan spell at Celtic.

He started brightly. But his form tailed off as the campaign edged towards its conclusion. It arguably says a lot that there seemed to be little talk that Celtic may attempt to try and keep him.

And it is little surprise that the report has not gone down well amongst Arsenal fans. Several simply cannot understand why he would be in the equation.

He has not kicked on as many probably expected at Goodison Park. And they have implored Arsenal to not consider a move this summer.
