Arsenal target Victor Osimhen’s asking price has been slashed after Napoli suffer ‘severe problems’
We’re just over a day away from the end of the transfer window, and there are a number of players whose futures remain unclear.
Ivan Toney still hasn’t found a move, Raheem Sterling is in limbo, while Victor Osimhen’s future is also up in the air.
Speaking on , Duncan Castles has shared a late update on Osimhen’s situation.
According to the journalist, Napoli now have a big problem with Victor Osimhen.
The Serie A club are apparently very keen to sell Osimhen after promising him he can leave earlier this summer, so much so that the striker’s asking price has now halved to £55m.

Victor Osimhen could leave for £55m
Castles shared what he knows about the ‘’ striker.
“Osimhen has a release clause and has been promised he can leave Napoli this summer. Napoli had been pushing for €130m (£110m), which they’re not going to get, now they have severe problems over that deal because they’re struggling to find suitors. They have an offer from Al-Ahli which is €65m (£55m). Which I think the chairman would be happy to take at this stage.”
Arsenal should get Victor Osimhen
Arsenal have been strongly linked with Victor Osimhen throughout this summer, and at this price, the Gunners should be all over this deal.
£55m for a striker who of Osimhen’s age and ability is a snip in this day and age.
Strikers come at an absolute premium these days. Tottenham just paid £65m for Dominic Solanke off the back of one good Premier League season.
Osimhen, meanwhile, has scored tons of goals in France, Italy as well as averaging a goal every other game in the Champions League.
It’s late in the day, but signing Osimhen for £55m could be one of the bargains of the summer.
Arsenal should be on red alert over this deal, because £55m is a very reasonable price for Osimhen.
