Arsenal target Juan Mata still has the ability to light up Emirates Stadium
Arsenal are reportedly interested in trying to land Manchester United playmaker Juan Mata.
, the Gunners are one of several teams eyeing the 30-year-old due to the fact he is out of contract at Old Trafford in the summer.
It is understood that Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona are all monitoring the Spaniard’s progress.
The report details that the attacking midfielder has had some talks with Manchester United about potentially extending his deal, but the club are being cautious about handing out contract to players aged over 30.
Mata is certainly not past it and he would be a brilliant addition at the Emirates Stadium, especially if they could land him on a free transfer.
The creative maestro has been tearing up English football years during his time with first Chelsea and now Manchester United.
He is a left-footed magician that would add even more creativity to the Gunners attack and has the quality to pick a pass with his vision.

Mata also previously played under current Arsenal boss Unai Emery at Valencia and the duo could strike up a dazzling combination once again.
The midfielder played three of his four seasons at Valencia under Emery, where he scored 37 goals and supplied 50 assists in 141 games.
He would slot in perfectly to Emery’s attacking style of football and could be a real under the radar signing that turns out to be a masterstroke.
Mata has been directly involved in seven goals already this season for Manchester United in 22 games and still has plenty more to give at the top level.
