Arsenal star to miss out on World Cup after being snubbed by national team boss – journalist
claims Arsenal star Gabriel Martinelli is set to miss out on the World Cup after being snubbed by Brazil boss Tite.
Martinelli has been in brilliant form for the Gunners this season and was hoping it would be enough to secure his place at the tournament in Qatar.
Gabriel Jesus was snubbed in September but has seemingly made Brazil’s final squad, while Martinelli and Gabriel Magalhaes are set to miss out.

Martinelli to miss out on World Cup
Andrade has posted on Twitter and revealed the full 26-man Brazil squad for Qatar.
Liverpool striker Roberto Firmino and Tottenham forward Richarlison have apparently been selected. But it looks like Martinelli will remain in north London.
Martinelli will be disappointed to miss out on the World Cup, with Brazil boss Tite preferring other wingers over the Arsenal star.
The 21-year-old has been a standout performer for Mikel Arteta’s side this season and has played a huge role in their near-flawless start.
The winger has already scored five goals and provided two assists in the Premier League. But his impressive form was not enough to earn him a place on the plane to Qatar.

Manchester United’s Antony has also been selected, alongside Raphinha, Vinicius Jr, Rodrygo and Neymar Jr.
Martinelli faces stiff competition for a place in the Brazil squad as Tite boasts a wealth of incredible attacking talent. But the Arsenal man has arguably outperformed a lot of the players who have been selected so far this season.
The talented winger will undoubtedly be devastated to miss out but it could be a positive for Arsenal as he will now be able to recover before the Premier gets back underway at Christmas.
The youngster has already played a lot of football this season and if he starts against Wolves on Saturday, he would have made 19 appearances before Brazil’s squad meet-up for the World Cup.
