Arsenal star Martin Odegaard shares where Haaland needs to go next
Martin Odegaard that Erling Haaland simply has to make the move to Arsenal if he is coming to the Premier League this summer.
Haaland continues to be one of the most highly spoken-about players on the planet as the window looms. The Norwegian has been absolutely outstanding for Borussia Dortmund this year, scoring 25 goals in 27 games in all competitions.
It would appear that he is moving to England this summer. that he has agreed personal terms with Manchester City, with the 21-year-old set to earn £500,000-a-week at the Etihad Stadium.
It appears to have the potential to be an absolute steal for City. His release clause is worth £63 million. So there is every chance that a deal could prove to be a massive coup for Pep Guardiola’s men.
Of course, one Premier League players who knows Haaland incredibly well already is his international teammate, Odegaard. And when asked about the forward’s future, the Arsenal star left the door open for him to follow him to the Emirates.
“He’s a funny guy, he’s a good guy and a good friend of mine. A great player of course. We will see what he will do, but if he’s coming to England he needs to come to us, of course,” .

It would just be the most remarkable deal if Arsenal were able to sign Haaland this summer. The Gunners definitely need to sign a new striker. And Haaland is an elite goalscorer.
His release clause also does not take him out of the Gunners’ price range. He would not even be the club’s record signing for those sort of fees.
However, it is probably too soon for Arsenal to compete with the very, very best for the very, very best players. It certainly does not help that City are also lacking depth up front.
One benefit is that it should open the door for the Gunners to step up their reported pursuit of Gabriel Jesus.
