Arsenal star Kieran Tierney shares 16-word Instagram message about his injury right after undergoing surgery

Arsenal star Kieran Tierney has confirmed that he underwent knee surgery following the injury he picked up after returning from international duty last week.
The Scotsman is one of Arsenal’s most important players. He is integral to the way Mikel Arteta’s side play and his injury has come at a terrible time for the Gunners, who need all the help they can get to finish in the top four.
Arsenal currently sit fifth in the league table, level on points with Tottenham Hotspur. However, they have a game in hand over their fierce North London rivals, which gives them a slight advantage in the top-four race.
Tierney’s injury certainly is a massive blow for Arsenal, but they have to come up with a way to win games without him.

Tierney has been absolutely incredible for Arsenal when he’s fit, but injuries have constantly troubled him since he joined the club from Celtic in 2019.
The 24-year-old has missed 39 games for the Gunners already. It looks like he’ll miss nine more in the coming weeks, which must be heartbreaking for him.
The good thing for Tierney and Arsenal fans is that the Scotsman’s surgery was a successful one and he’s on the road to recovery already.
“Op went well. Thank you so much for all the messages of support. Really appreciate it,” Tierney wrote on last night.

Just when things were looking up for Arsenal, they’ve suffered three huge blows in a matter of a few days.
Tierney’s injury ruled him out for the remainder of the season, the Gunners suffered a terrible 3-0 defeat against Crystal Palace and now, it has been that Thomas Partey has suffered muscle damage on his right thigh.
This makes things really tricky for Arteta but the Arsenal boss simply has to find a way to get the job done without two of his key first-team stars.
Arsenal face Brighton tomorrow and it will be interesting to see the team Arteta puts out.
