Arsenal star Emile Smith Rowe receives praise from teammate and Tottenham-owned player
Arsenal youngster Emile Smith Rowe scored his first Premier League goal for the Gunners during yesterday’s 3-1 win over West Brom. Afterwards, he received some praise on Instagram from Bukayo Saka and Tottenham-owned player Ryan Sessegnon.
The Gunners bounced back to form after a disappointing result in midweek. Mikel Arteta’s team were knocked out of the Europa League at the semi-final stage by Unai Emery’s Villarreal team.
Yesterday, however, they played with freedom and from the moment Smith Rowe claimed his first top-flight goal, the writing was seemingly on the wall for the hapless Baggies.

Further goals from Nicolas Pepe and Willian put the seal on a crucial win for the Gunners and after the game, it was Arsenal’s young attacker Smith Rowe who came in for praise.
He swept home a cross from Saka who was also impressive and following his Instagram post he received praise from his teammate and Tottenham youngster Sessegnon.
Smith Rowe has been an instrumental part of the Arsenal team since making his first Premier League start of the season against Chelsea on Boxing Day.
Arsenal won that game and the Hale End graduate has been regularly utilised since by Arteta.
Quality
The 20-year-old has enjoyed a stunning second half of the campaign and has scored six goals and claimed seven assists in all competitions during 2020/21.

During a season that has been riddled with inconsistencies, it’s Arsenal’s young players that have at least provided a bit of optimism for the future.
The jury perhaps remains out on Arteta and if they don’t qualify for Europe the season will have to be considered disastrous.
The boss can win a lot of his critics over, however, by continuing to call upon the younger players within his squad.
That includes Smith Rowe.
