Arsenal should make move for Allan Saint-Maximin, amid reports Roma want him
Arsenal are desperate for some new signings this summer and Newcastle United winger, Allan Saint-Maximin could be the ideal player.
The Frenchman is someone who has already been on the radar of the Gunners for some time now. Just last summer, claimed the Saint-Maximin was a potential target for Mikel Arteta.

Of course, the French winger remained in the Northeast with Newcastle and after a challenging season, he’s returned recently to inspire Steve Bruce’s men to a number of results to cement their Premier League place again.
It goes without saying that Saint-Maximin is a top talent. It’s no coincidence his return to form and full fitness has seen the Magpies pick up some big results. And with Arsenal needing players at the top of the pitch who are difference makers, it’s worth them considering the tricky winger once again.
Saint-Maximin ideal for Arsenal
There aren’t many players in world football who get fans excited like Saint-Maximin does. He’s one of those stars who simply does things you don’t expect and, at any given moment, can win you a game. Steve Bruce said as much back in the summer of 2020, when he Saint-Maximin a ‘real talent’ and someone who ‘gets you off your seat’.
Recent reports have suggested that Roma want the Newcastle man. Former Spurs boss, Jose Mourinho, for Saint-Maximin.

But if that is the price, and Arsenal are willing to spend this summer, then they have to get their name back in the picture. Even with Nicolas Pepe slightly improving of late, there remains questions over the futures of the likes of Aubameyang and Lacazette.
The Gunners need more goals and assists from the players they have in wide areas. In Saint-Maximin, they’d be getting a player who is more than capable of producing the goods and, at just 24, will only get better.
If Mikel Arteta wants to bring in an exciting player who will catch the eye, then Saint-Maximin is his man.
